The idea behind my design was to take the form of a leaf and the motion it travels through the wind and falls to the ground, creating a trendy design. Using colours that inspire me when I think of autumn and winter, I incorporated green which bounces off a charcoal background creating a well balanced pallet with the intervention of white to keep it looking fresh. The darker notes that float in the background provide depth to draw the eye in whilst a layer of copper coloured wire peeps through with texture, taking on the character of a âburnt orangeâ coloured leaf that has been transformed through the seasons. As simple as its content is, this brings an aspect of transparency and intrigue as you are able to see snippets of what sits inside. This unique take on a Kleenex tissue box is versatile and will look amazing amongst all types decor, bringing depth to a space. The dark background allows my design to stand out and demand the attention it deserves.
